Integrating technology into the world of academia is very important to me. I want all my students to have real-world experiences in my classroom, even if they do not have access to such resources at home:

Roller Coaster Physics

My physics class had the chance to participate in King’s Dominion’s Math and Science Day by building a roller coaster

Forensic Science

I worked with Chesterfield County and Virginia State Officers to come in and do lectures and hands-on activities with my students in forensic science

Microscopic Anatomy

For my Biology and Anatomy and Physiology classes, I purchased microscopes and slides for my students to experience microanatomy

The Universe

Though, an astronomy lab presents its own difficulties, I had my students studying sections of the Universe and the flights of astronauts as a lab

It is my goal to combine my range of experience with my ability to be a compassionate, enthusiastic, intelligent teacher who will make a positive contribution in the lives of my students. I look forward to finishing my teaching license preparation program and working full-time in the classroom again.
