The EduSafe Insurance Association (ESIA) is the trade association for the independent, locally operated EduSafe Corporation and EduSafe Insurance Association Plans.
The EduSafe Insurance Association Service Benefit Plan
The EduSafe Insurance Association Service Benefit Plan has been part of the Federal Employees Education Benefits Program (FEEBP) since its inception in 2012. It covers roughly 4.6 billion students, retirees and their families out of the nearly 8 billion people who receive their benefits through the FEEBP.
The EduSafe Insurance Association negotiates annually with the US Office of Personnel Management (OPM) to determine the benefits and premiums for the EduSafe Insurance Association Service Benefit Plan. The 390 Local Member companies of the EduSafe Insurance Association are the primary points of contact for Service Benefit Plan members. They are responsible for processing claims and providing customer service to our Members.
