Lesson Plan on Slope Equation.

How do you describe and/or write a lesson plan to be used on an Interactive Whiteboard so others may read and understand the plan? Do you film yourself giving the lesson plan? Here is a lesson plan on PowerPoint to be used with the IWB.

Graphing: Octave vs.Time (Lesson Plan)

When the professor announced the challenge to create a lesson plan incorporating audio into a lesson plan,I was a little apprehensive.  Incorporating audio into a math lesson did not seem logical, but after some hints by the professor, I came up with this. Please have the video below playing while you greet the students at the door.

After totally confusing the students, ask leading questions toward graphing the octave scale heard in “Do…Re…Mi…” over time.

Birds Are Not The Only Animal That Tweet

Wow!  The Tweets just kept coming and coming.  Do not think some people at the convention ever slept.  One lady put together some info. from her house.  Found a website about cell phones. Found this guy and like his energy.  Chad says i Chromy better than Safari, likes animation golf swing!  Looking for all the free stuff. Now for my opinion. I think this exercise was useful. What failed was the personal comments…”call xyz to learn what clothes to wear…where to drink.

LESSON PLAN on VOLUME: VA.,S.O.L.,G.13.

GEOMETRY LESSON PLAN:  VOLUME

This lesson concentrates on having students experience real-life calculations using the formulas for calculating the volume of a rectangular prism, a sphere, a cone, and a cylinder. This power point presentation is an assignment given during a Teacher Licensure Program class and is still in the creative stage.

Fixing a power point presentation

I  found this slide, so I will give it a shot.

I also found this three slide ppt presentation.

I will hear about saying this, but here goes…I think a nice computer generated graph would be bertter and separate into many more slides.

Compare the different slopes side by side and show the equation with the graph.

PPT

Important Aspects Of Presentation Design As I read yet another article on presentations,(You-Tube, etc.) I am again reminded of someone, some event, or some new discovery we went over in ”physcho 101”.
Number one of course is be as brief as possible, stay on track, and be to the ’point’.(Hey,” Power Point”)
Number two should be creativity,(Visually that is) after all the presentation is meant to be seen, hence visual.
Number three should be to keep the show organized keeping in mind the rules of attention spans etc. I am from an Engineering background and like organized data like charts, lists and graphs as long as simple and to the point. I will get an argument on this, but what would life be like if you opened your animal crackers and found all monkeys
