Hello! Welcome to my website. I’m Kira Rhorer, a native Richmonder who is currently enrolled at the University of Richmond for Elementary Education. After earning my BFA from Virginia Tech and several years of teaching in various capacities, I have decided to further my love for teaching. My teaching experience ranges from after school art classes, to summer science camps, to economic lessons in Richmond City schools. My passion is to instill in my students, not only a love for learning, but compassion for others and sparked interest in the world around them.
I call the fan of Richmond my home, along with my husband and cat Cotton. In my free time I enjoy hunting for unique antiques and volunteering with various Richmond nonprofits. I am excited and eager to further my teaching endeavors in an elementary classroom, full of bright and exciting young people.
