Students will learn common descriptive words that are associated with the sense of tasting. Students will share and discuss their favorite dishes while they look through different food magazines. If students are able to find dishes that corresponds to the various descriptive words, they can cut and paste the picture in the label.

I think I need help with tart vs tangy

I think I would actually remove one or even both of those words. Tangy, I guess is more of a pleasant reference to something being sour and tart is a stronger expression. I like the freedom of moving the bubbles around and being able to make those connections. I think the bubbles could be used for just about any topic to help children see important relationships.
