Following is a World History lesson plan with a video I made as an example of a potential product created by a pair or group of students. Instead of writing a report on a Greek historical figure, the students will create a video commercial that explains what their assigned person contributed to Western civilization. The students still must conduct research to complete their project, but making a video is more engaging and involves collaboration. After the entire class views all the videos, the students will vote on who they think contributed the most to Western civilization.
