Should I categorize the lesson plans according to the type they are or can I leave them categorized by subject?

Perhaps adding a section to the lesson in which I teach and model creating a tour of one of the areas we pinned would integrate and manipulate the technology of Google Earth? Would this be too time consuming trying to teach this depth of Google Earth skills to 3rd graders?

I’m aware of those issues, that’s yet another reason I would be working with a librarian. He/she would probably be more knowledgeable of copyright infringement issues than I. Nothing I guess, but you asked for technology – not worksheets. But seriously, students are “interacting” with the videos as opposed to worksheets. The modeled reading is one of the book choices for the students. The actual lesson would include modeled reading of ALL the book choices to match with whichever book the student chooses. See “Materials and Advanced Preparation” second bullet.
